According to recent reports, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic are planning to begin negotiations for a new social security agreement. Any resulting agreement must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, would replace the 1957 social security agreement between the former Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia as it applies in relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Slovak Republic.
