On 2 December 2021, Brazil's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of National Congress) approved for ratification the pending tax information exchange agreements with Bermuda and Guernsey.
The agreement with Bermuda, signed 29 October 2012, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from that date.
