On 10 November 2022, Brazil's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of the National Congress) approved the ratification of the pending tax information exchange agreement with San Marino. The agreement, signed 31 March 2016, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
