On 13 February 2025, Brazil's Chamber of Deputies (lower house of the National Congress) approved the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Poland. The treaty, signed 20 September 2022, is the first of its kind between the countries. It will enter into force three months after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
