Brazil has published Normative Instruction RFB No. 1950 of 12 May 2020, which extends the deadline for the submission of Digital Bookkeeping (Escrituracão Contábil Digital - ECD) due to COVID-19. This includes that the deadline for the submission of the ECD for the 2019 tax year is extended from the last business day of May to the last business day of July 2020 (i.e., Friday, 31 July 2020).
