Colombia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a joint statement concerning the official state visit by Colombian President Ivan Duque to Brazil on 19 October 2021. The statement notes, among other things, the successful conclusion of negotiations for an income tax treaty between Brazil and Colombia. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
