According to a Joint Declaration on the 3rd German-Brazilian Intergovernmental Consultations held in Hanover on 20 April 2026, Brazil and Germany have agreed to intensify talks on concluding a new income tax treaty that will promote investment and strengthen bilateral business relationships.
