Brazil and the UK to Begin Tax Treaty Negotiations

UK HMRC has published a joint declaration announcing that Brazil and the UK will hold the first round of negotiations for an income tax treaty during a visit by HMRC to Brazil between 12 and 16 September 2022. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized signed and ratified before entering into force.
