The Government of the British Virgin Islands has issued a release from the Inland Revenue Department announcing a new online tax system that automates the administration of all taxes and licences. The Standard Integrated Government Tax Administration System – SIGTAS 3.0 – is scheduled to go live in February 2023 and requires the 're-registration' of businesses and the registration of all persons of employable age.
