On 11 December 2019, Bulgaria's Council of Ministers approved the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Quebec, Canada. The agreement, signed 19 September 2019, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
