On 27 December 2019, Bulgaria's Council of Ministers approved the pending income tax treaty with Pakistan, which will be sent to the National Assembly for ratification. The treaty, signed 21 May 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
