The Cambodian General Department of Taxation has issued a notification on changes in the size-based classification of taxpayers under the self-declaration regime. One of the main changes is an increase in the turnover threshold between medium and large taxpayers from KHR 2 billion to KHR 4 billion. Another change is that subsidiaries in Cambodia of a multinational company will always be considered a large taxpayer, regardless of turnover.
