Cambodia and Laos Looking to Conclude Tax Treaty Negotiations

On 4 May 2023, officials from Cambodia and Laos met to discuss bilateral cooperation, including Cambodia's interest in concluding tax treaty negotiations that first began in February 2021. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
