According to a release from Cambodia's General Department of Taxation, officials from Cambodia and the Philippines held the third round of negotiations for an income tax treaty from 17 to 19 April 2024. Discussions on a tax treaty were first held in 2018. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
