According to a release from the Moldovan National House of Social Insurance, officials from Canada and Moldova began the second round of negotiations for a social security agreement on 10 December 2024, which is scheduled to end on 13 December. Any resulting agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
