Canada to Negotiate Updates to Tax Treaties with Germany and Switzerland

Canada's Department of Finance has announced that negotiations will be held in June to update the 2001 income tax treaty with Germany and the 1997 income and capital tax treaty with Switzerland. Any resulting amendments will need to be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force. Details of the amendments for each treaty will be published once available.
