Cape Verde published Decree No. 5/2022 in the Official Gazette on 18 February 2022, which approves the pending protocol to the 1981 social security agreement with the Netherlands. The protocol, signed 12 December 2018, is the third to amend the agreement and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Note, however, that the protocol already provisionally applies from 1 July 2019 as provided for in the protocol.
