Colombia's Ministry of Finance has published Decree No. 0242 of 29 February 2024, which adjusts the rates of self-withholding tax for income from the export of hydrocarbons, coal, and other mining products and withholding tax at source for income from the sale of hydrocarbons and coal to international marketing companies. The main rates are as follows:
- 3.0% for hydrocarbon exports;
- 1.0% for coal exports; and
- 1.0% for exports of other mining products, including gold.
