Colombia Clarifies Tax Withholding on Dividends Under Tax Treaty with Chile

Colombia's National Tax Authority (DIAN) recently issued a ruling concerning the withholding of tax on dividend payments covered by the 2007 tax treaty with Chile. The ruling provides that where dividends are paid from Colombia to a Chilean resident, tax is to be withheld at domestic rates.
