Colombia has published Law 2130 of 4 August 2021, which establishes certain tax incentives for natural and legal persons that make qualifying donations to scholarship programs that finance the training of persons joining public (military) forces. This includes that such donations are deductible in the year they are made, and an additional tax credit is granted equal to 25% of the donations made. The law is generally effective from 4 August 2021.
