On 20 July 2018, Costa Rica published in the Official Gazette the legislative decree for the ratification of the pending tax information exchange agreement with Guernsey. The agreement, signed 5 March 2014, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force 30 days after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will generally apply from that date.
