Council Implementing Decision Published to Extend Authorization of Estonia's Increased VAT Exemption Threshold

A Council Implementing Decision was published on 26 February 2021 that extends the authorization for Estonia to derogate from Article 287 of the VAT Directive by allowing Estonia to continue to exempt from VAT taxable persons whose annual turnover is no higher than EUR 40,000. The Decision authorizes Estonia to continue to apply the increased threshold until 31 December 2024.
