The Cyprus Council of Ministers has approved an extension of the temporary application of the zero VAT rate on basic goods, including all types of bread, milk, eggs, baby food, baby diapers, feminine hygiene products, and adult diapers. Previously set to apply until 31 October 2023, the application of the zero VAT rate on basic goods is being extended by six months to 30 April 2024.
