On 28 November 2019, the Czech Chamber of Deputies (lower house of parliament) approved the ratification of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI). The MLI was approved by the Senate (upper house) in December 2018. The Czech Republic must now deposit its ratification instrument to bring the MLI into force for its covered agreements (tax treaties).
