On 30 October 2019, the Czech Senate approved the bill for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Mongolia. The agreement, signed 20 May 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the month following the month in which the ratification instruments are exchanged.
