Officials from the Czech Republic and Gabon reopened negotiations for an income tax treaty on 18 February 2025. The two countries concluded negotiations on an earlier treaty in 2013, but the treaty was never signed. Any resulting treaty from the new negotiations must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
