Czech Republic and Iraq Negotiating New Tax Treaty

Officials from the Czech Republic and Iraq are scheduled to hold the first round of negotiations for a new income tax treaty from 21 to 24 July 2025. The two sides previously concluded negotiations with the initialing of a tax treaty in 2018, but that treaty was not ultimately signed. The new treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
