According to a release from the Iraqi News Agency, officials from the Czech Republic and Iraq met on 13 February 2025 to discuss bilateral cooperation, including the aim of both sides to conclude an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
