Officials from the Czech Republic and Malta are reportedly meeting from 22 to 24 August 2023 for the second round of negotiations for a new income tax treaty. The treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1996 tax treaty between the two countries.
