The Danish government has introduced a compensation program for fixed expenses of businesses suffering a decline in turnover as a result of COVID-19. The program will be available for a period of up to 3 months from 9 March to 9 June 2020 and includes that the government will provide compensation for fixed expenses, such as rent, interest expense, and contractual expenses (that may not be canceled) for up to 80% of the expense amount depending on turnover decline.
