Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader formally withdrew the draft Law on Fiscal Modernization on 22 October 2024. As previously reported, the draft law was presented to Congress on 8 October 2024 including several tax changes. It has been withdrawn due to a lack of consensus on the proposed measures. Details on any future proposals will be published once available.
