On 14 October 2009, the government approved two draft Budget proposals for 2010, i.e.: (i) the Law on State and Municipalities Budget and (ii) the Law on State Social Insurance Budget. These drafts will be presented to the parliament shortly. Unless otherwise indicated below, both Budget Acts (when passed) will apply from 1 January 2010.
Together with the two draft Budget proposals, a number of amendments to the tax laws were presented.
