On 15 April 2024, the Dutch government announced the Spring Memorandum 2024, providing an update on the budget for 2024 and future years. Among other things, this includes the following planned tax measures:
- An increase in the energy tax rates of the third, fourth, and fifth brackets for natural gas by 22.4% in 2025 with a further increase by 2.7% in 2030;
