The Dutch Ministry of Finance has announced its tax treaty negotiation plans for 2018. The plans include the start of tax treaty negotiations with:
- Australia - would revise or replace the current 1976 tax treaty;
- Austria - would revise or replace the current 1970 tax treaty;

- Costa Rica - would be the first of its kind;
