The Cayman Islands Ministry of Finance Services has announced that the jurisdiction will be removed from the European Union's list of jurisdictions with deficiencies in their anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism regimes with effect from 7 February 2024. This follows the Cayman Islands removal from the FATF anti-money laundering grey list in October 2023.
