Ecuador's Ministry of Labor recently issued Ministerial Agreement MDT-2023-175, which sets the basic minimum monthly salary for 2024 at USD 460, up from USD 450. The minimum monthly salary is used for various tax-related purposes, including as the minimum basis for social security contributions. The Ministerial Agreement is effective from 1 January 2024.
