Ecuador's Ministry of Labor has issued Ministerial Agreement MDT-2024-300, which sets the basic minimum monthly salary for 2025 at USD 470, up from USD 460. The minimum monthly salary is used for various tax-related purposes, including as the minimum basis for social security contributions. The Ministerial Agreement is effective from 1 January 2025.
