Ecuadorian President Approves Tax Support for Individuals and Small Businesses in 2023

On 17 May 2023, Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso signed Decree-Law No. 742 for the Strengthening of the Family Economy. Among other things, the Decree-Law provides revised individual income tax brackets and rates that apply for 2023 as follows:

  • USD 0 to 11,722 - 0%
  • USD 11,722 to 14,930 - 5%
  • USD 14,930 to 19,385 - 10%
  • USD 19,385 to 25,638 - 12%
  • USD 25,638 to 33,738 - 15%
  • USD 33,738 to 44,721 - 20%
  • USD 44,721 to 59,537 - 25%
  • USD 59,537 to 79,388 - 30%
  • USD 79,388 to 105,580 - 35%
  • USD 105,58…
