On 23 December 2018, the Egyptian Tax Authority announced the obligation for companies to submit electronic income tax returns corresponding to the fiscal year ending 31 December 2018 via the Egyptian Tax Authority website. Also, VAT returns should be submitted electronically as from January 2019.
