On 16 November 2023, the Egyptian Cabinet approved the ratification of the pending income tax treaty signed with Croatia on 26 September 2023. An earlier tax treaty between the two countries was signed in 2005 but never entered into force. The new treaty will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
