Egypt’s parliament on August 18 approved for ratification the OECD Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI), according to Egyptian media reports. At the time of signature, Egypt submitted its provisional list of reservations and notifications and identified 55 treaties to which it intends to apply the MLI.
