El Salvador and the U.S. Sign Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement

U.S. Customs and Border Protection has announced the recent signing of a Customs Mutual Assistance Agreement (CMAA) with El Salvador on 8 October 2024. Once in force, the CMAA will allow the United States and El Salvador to exchange information and provide mutual assistance on customs offenses, thus strengthening the collaboration between the two countries.
