According to a recent release from the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, officials from Estonia and Ukraine met on 6 August 2025 to discuss bilateral cooperation in the field of social policy and agreed to establish a joint working group to update the Social Security Agreement between the two countries. Any resulting update will be the first to the agreement and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
