The European Commission has announced the adoption of the rules for the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2022/2560 on foreign subsidies distorting the internal market. The Regulation, which entered into force on 23 January 2023, establishes a comprehensive framework for the Commission to examine any economic activity benefiting from a subsidy granted by a non-EU country on the internal market.
