On 14 June 2021, the European Parliament Committees on Economic and Monetary Affairs and Legal Affairs endorsed the provisional agreement reached on the proposed directive for public Country-by-Country reporting. The directive is to be approved by the Council in its first reading, with the European Parliament as a whole to give its approval after the summer recess.
