Exchange of Letters Amending Tax Treaty between Switzerland and Kazakhstan Signed

On 10 July 2014, the Swiss Federal Department of Finance issued a press release stating that officials from Switzerland and Kazakhstan have signed an exchange of letters amending the 1999 income tax treaty between the two countries. The exchange of letters brings the exchange of information provisions of the treaty in line with OECD standards.
