According to an update from the U.S. Department of the Treasury on 6 September 2024, the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Thailand and the U.S. for the implementation of FATCA entered into force on 28 April 2024. Although in force on that date, Thailand is treated as having an IGA in effect from 30 June 2014.
