Finland's Ministry of Finance has announced that the Finnish parliament approved government proposal HE 68/2022 on 8 July 2022. Among other things, this includes the Act on amending Section 55 of the Act on the Implementation of the Reform of Social and Health Care and Rescue Operations and Enforcing Legislation to provide that municipalities must reduce their municipal income tax rates by 12.64% in 2023 as compared to the rates for 2022.
