Finland Looking to Amend Tax Treaty with Switzerland

The Finnish government is reportedly looking to negotiate an amending protocol to the 1991 income and capital tax treaty with Switzerland in order to improve the allocation of tax rights and to ensure Finland's right to tax specific pension income. Any resulting protocol would be the fourth to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
