Finnish Government Reaches Agreement on Fiscal Plan for 2027–2030 Including Corporate Tax Rate Cut

The Finnish Government has announced that agreement has been reached on a General Government Fiscal Plan for 2027–2030. Tax measures of the plan include:

  • A reduction in the corporate tax rate from 20% to 18% in 2027;
  • An increase in the entrepreneurial deduction for private traders and those in the agriculture and forestry sectors from 5% to 5.5%;
  • An increase in the maximum household tax credit for 2026 and 2027 from EUR 1,600 euros to EUR 2,100 euros, along with an increase in the deduction…
